Staff & Volunteer Recognition Night
Monday, June 4, 2012 - 6:00p.m. - Elementary/Middle School Cafeteria Each year the Board of Education recognizes teachers and support staff for their years of service and retirement and volunteers who make the little extras of Dennis Township School District the best place to attend school. This year the Board of Education will take their thank you to these valued individuals to the next level by cooking dinner for everyone. This invitation is being extended to entire Dennis Township Community.  If you wish to attend, please print this form, complete the bottom and return it to Jennifer Hunter in the Superintendent's Office by May 24, 2012.

PRESS RELEASE
Although the public vote on the Dennis Township School District budget has been eliminated this year, just as many difficult decisions are required of us to create a viable budget.  The property tax rate will increase .024 cents to .849 for general fund and debt service, due in part to state aid cuts of $367,096 as well as the rising costs of running a school.  Board members reduced the original proposed budget and tax levy by $50,000 at the Public Hearing to assist local taxpayers...click here for more

The Big Concert
Did you know the Girl Scout organization turns 100 this year? In celebration, the NJ Girl Scout Councils are hosting a BIG Concert at Liberty State Park on June 23 open to everyone, Girl Scouts and non Girl Scouts to celebrate 100 years of leadership. Bus Drivers Needed
Substitute School Bus Drivers for the remainder of the 2011-2012 school year.  Permanent positions will be available effective September 2012.  Must possess valid NJ Driver's license and clean driving record.  Will train for NJ CDL.  $14.00 per hour for substitute.  Contact Kitty Hamann, Dennis Township School District, 609-861-2821, ext. 239.  EOE/AA

The Scrip program is back
