Welcome to the Dennis Township School District's Offices of Special Education and Child Study Team.  As the Director of Special Education in our district, it is my responsibility to promote the success of all students by overseeing that the school environment is working within the framework of the special education regulations and laws developed by the New Jersey Department of Education.

Our district offers special education services to the Pre-K through 8th grade population, through a variety of programs which includes an In-Class Resource Program, Pull-out Resource Program, Self-Contained Autistic Program, Self-Contained Multiply Handicapped Program or SLD Program.

Our Child Study Team is a team of specialists working together to identify, evaluate, determine eligibility, and develop & review individualized education plans (IEP's) and placement. The team, including parents, teachers, and other specialists, make recommendations for programs that will provide the appropriate educational and related services in the least restrictive environment.
