Dear Parent/Guardian:

Enclosed is an informational Q&A on the HPV Vaccine to prevent cervical cancer and the HPV virus.  The vaccine is recommended by the CDC and the New Jersey Department of Health and Senior Services  for all 11 and 12 year old girls and for all 13 through 26 year old girls who have not already received the shot.  Because this vaccine is so highly recommended, the Department of Education has asked schools to distribute this information to all middle and high school students.

Please give careful consideration to the information provided.  Any questions should be directed to your child's physician.
