Welcome Note. . . . .
Welcome to a new school year!
As the Principal of Dennis Township Middle School I would like to introduce myself. I arrived in Dennis Township in 1994 as Assistant Principal after spending several years as Supervisor of students at the Cape May County Special Services School District. I also taught for 12 years at the Upper Perkiomen Middle School in Montgomery County, PA.
I believe in keeping our students safe. The idea of safety permeates all areas of our school. Students need to feel safe academically if they are to learn to their potential. They need to feel comfortable enough to ask questions, take risks and not be threatened by making mistakes. Mutual respect is expected and valued. Finally, students need to feel physically safe. This is accomplished through a commitment by our entire Middle School staff to consistently reinforce these expectations.
Creating a school environment that accomplishes our goals is a challenge. It requires cooperation, flexibility and teamwork. As parents/guardians you are very important members of this team. I invite your involvement in your child's education and look forward to working with you.
